Santillana del Mar

The beautiful village of Santillana del Mar grew up around a monastery founded in 870 that became in the 12th century the Collegiate Church of Santa Juliana.

Its old town is an architectural treasure with cobbled streets and stone houses dating back to the Middle Ages and the Renaissance.
